Before
Heavy traffic areas like livestock feeders are prone to excessive mud and dirt. This is a costly and time-consuming issue many farms are faced with.
Preparation
Once the mud was removed and the ground was levelled, a gravel paver base needed to be put in place.
Installation
Ecoraster’s gravel grid system was placed on the gravel base and the grid mechanism clicks together with ease. As the product is lightweight and easy to install, this process is efficient, effective, and doesn’t require a trained technician to complete. Ecoraster can also be used as a drainable base for small areas throughout your facility.
After
After installing Ecoraster’s no-waste hay feeder paving for cattle, improvement to the area and cost-savings were immediately felt. Future issues with mud were prevented and clean out time is reduced. Cost savings were also found in hay and expensive vet bills that can come due to moisture-related illness in animals.
