The mining and drilling industry is focused on safety first. There has been increased interest when safety can be enhanced by the use of an affordable industrial paving product like Ecoraster.
Preparation
Ecoraster’s porous paver grid system can be used in a variety of ways depending on the surface. For ground stabilization, the durable plastic grid can be laid with little preparation. For more permanent solutions some sub-base must be prepared.
Installation
While Ecoraster is able to withstand a great load capacity, it is lightweight and easy to install. Ecoraster’s pervious paver grid system can be installed without a certified technician on site. This made for an ideal installation, allowing the core team to easily perform the install.
After
Ecoraster installation in the mining and drilling industry was successful. The pervious pavers improved safety, reduced the need for regrading areas, and provided a solid foundation to conduct complex operations on without the need for monitoring ground conditions.
