Before
Some of the biggest problems facing campgrounds are soil compaction, mud, and erosion due to heavy use. Prior to installing Ecoraster, this high-traffic area was in need of a new campsite design, improved erosion control methods, and a permeable yard drainage system that could tackle the above issues. Since large vehicles were constantly parking on the campground, the owners also looked to Ecoraster for RV parking pad ideas that were easy-to-install and could withstand the pressure.
Preparation
Campgrounds like to promote large areas of green grass. Ecoraster easily fit into the campground design guidelines, as it could simply be placed on top of the ground in its current state.
Installation
Ecoraster E50 is able to withstand high load capacity while being lightweight and easy to install. This durable ground drainage solution does not require a trained technician and can be completed in a short period of time.
After
By maintaining a non-compacted area for grass to grow in, Ecoraster allows for yard drainage while also providing a stable surface that cars, RVs, and pedestrians can use with ease. With virtually no maintenance cost after installation, campgrounds often see decreased costs and are now including this into their campsite layouts.
